Bryce Canyon & Zion National Park Tour

Bryce Canyon & Zion National Park TourLas Vegas – Zion National Park – Bryce Canyon – Las Vegas

Summary of The Day:
On the way to Zion National Park, we will take you through the amazing Arizona Strip, with the view as impressive as the one from the floor of the Grand Canyon, but without a few thousand feet hike to see it. The Arizona Strip provides an ideal combination of beauty and accessibility. While at Zion you will view the stunning scenery, the spectacular network of colorful canyons, forested mesas, and fascinating deserts, sandstone cliffs that are among the highest in the world, diverse plant and animal communities, and Ancestral Puebloan, Paiute and Mormon pioneer history. This park has a stunning beauty which has often been compared to paradise or Yosemite of Southwest.

Bryce Canyon is a paradise of odd shaped rock towers. Erosion has shaped colorful limestones, sandstones and mudstones into thousands of spires, fins, pinnacles and mazes that collectively are called “Voodoos”. These unique formations are whimsically arranged and tinted with colors that truly emphasize their beauty. At the higher elevations, near the Bryce Canyon visitors center, the forest of ponderosa pines, fir, spruce trees and meadows of wild flowers fill your senses with clean air and clear skies.

This tour offers a nutritional morning snack with juice or water, and a deli lunch with the choice of roast beef, ham, turkey or vegetarian sandwich, and unlimited supply of bottled water.

Galakiwi Mini-Adventures in Ecuador to Support Earthquake Victims

Galakiwi Mini-Adventures in Ecuador to Support Earthquake VictimsECUADOR, May 10th, 2016 – When Galakiwi began rolling out their new Mini-Adventure tours in Ecuador earlier this year, it was an exciting time allowing them to highlight their favorite overnight trips from Quito.

Historically, a lot of their Galapagos visitors have had a few free days available to explore Quito and the rest of Ecuador before heading to the islands. These short 2-day / 1-night Mini-Adventures were created as a way to allow Galapagos-bound travelers to see more of Ecuador than the classic Quito day tour.

The first two Mini-Adventures on offer are to Otavalo and the Mindo Cloud Forest Preserve. Galakiwi has plans to launch more Mini-Adventures in the future to Cuenca as well as coastal areas affected by the April 2016 earthquake, such as Guayaquil.

As the country of Ecuador continues to come together and support their fellow citizens, friends and neighbors, Galakiwi is supporting Red Cross Ecuador – www.cruzroja.org.ec – by donating 50% of any Mini-Adventure tour bookings (up to a maximum of $5000) from travelers who come and visit Ecuador up until June 30, 2016.

Tim Cooney, founder of Galakiwi said “The best way to support Ecuador is to come and visit. We encourage people to continue to travel to Ecuador during this time of need. Donating 50% of our Ecuador Mini-Adventure revenues is just our small way of lending support.”

NEPAL IS STILL A SAFE AND ONE OF THE BEST TOURIST DESTINATIONS

Shey Phoksumdo Lake - 3730m
Shey Phoksumdo Lake – 3730m

NEPAL, September 11th, 2015 – Nepal has always been topping the list, when it comes to the best travel destinations in the world. It was only after the great quakes of April 25 and May 12 that the travelers got a bit skeptical regarding the safety issues in Nepal. The news about the devastations of the quake was so rampantly broadcast by the international media that the fact of most of the parts in Nepal being untouched by the menace was seriously overlooked. Everyone was concerned about the magnitude of the destruction and execution of rescue and relief operations. Amidst all these ordeals, Nepal was somehow tagged as an unsafe destination. It is worth mentioning that only some factions of Nepal were affected by the quake while the rest of the parts were completely intact. Thanks to the Lonely Planet, Nepal has been included in the top list of the best travel destination for this October. So the bottom line is that the menace of earthquake is now over and once the monsoon subsides, Nepal is safely ready to welcome the adventurers from around the world. October is once again a peak season for trekking in Nepal and the Annapurna region is a great, nay epic, place to begin with.
