Chicago, IL – March 10, 2015 – ArrowStream, Inc. (“ArrowStream”), a Software-as-a-Service provider for supply chain organizations, announced today that CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc. (“CKE”), parent company of Carl’s Jr.® and Hardee’s® restaurants, has licensed ArrowStream’s OnDemand software to better manage food spend and distribution to nearly 3,000 domestic restaurant locations across 42 states.
CKE’s supply chain management sought a single solution to review distributor inventories, centralize information and streamline operations. Finding a solution that identifies and directs CKE to potential stock-outs and surpluses was important to ensure continuity of supply and successful limited-time offers.
“After a very thorough assessment, our team agreed that ArrowStream is the right partner,” said John Dunion, Chief Supply Chain Officer at CKE. “We were very impressed with OnDemand’s extensive capabilities and the opportunity to leverage the system to be more efficient, proactive and collaborative with our supply partners.”
OnDemand’s powerful and unique data architecture gives CKE greater flexibility in how it can analyze spend across items, suppliers and categories. This functionality also enables CKE to easily roll up or drill down into spend across the entire CKE system.
“Onboarding CKE as our newest customer is a great testament that our software is leading this industry. Replacing an incumbent technology is always tough, however, our solution and teams are able to do it seamlessly while delivering state-of-the-art analytics,” said Frank Morgiewicz, CEO at ArrowStream. “The Carl’s Jr./Hardee’s brand is one of the most popular in the quick service industry, and we look forward to growing with them.”
