IRVINE, Calif., November 15, 2014 – Sanuk, a division of Deckers Brands (NYSE: DECK), introduces its Spring 2015 contemporary canvas footwear for women called the Kat collection. Known for its patented sandal-like shoe construction, Sanuk is making its first foray into fully vulcanized footwear for women with the Kat collection, following the successful launch of the Boulevard collection for men in September.
The Kat collection is decidedly edgy, with a laid back street style-inspired aesthetic. The collection, which features a signature slim, pointed toe silhouette throughout, includes three styles: the Katlash, a casual bootie-inspired style with a higher vamp; the Kats Meow, a twist on the classic ballet flat; and the sleek, backless Kat Nip.
Katlash ($65): This re-shaped bootie version completes the collection. The higher vamp creates a unique silhouette, which pairs perfectly with any casual chic look, from skinny jeans to a distressed denim mini skirt. Available in Black, Red and Grey.
Kats Meow ($65): The street-chic Kat’s Meow slip-on takes the traditional casual version to another level with its unique pointed silhouette. This style is offered in both three solid woven upper colors, as well as a custom dusty-hued print. Available in Black, Indigo, Red, Brown/Multi, Black/Multi.
Kat Nip ($60): This sleek and pointed backless slip-on has a two-tone woven upper and soft canvas lining. The addition of the molded arch support will keep you comfortable and stylish. Available in Black, Indigo and Olive.
Made with soft canvas lining and removable dual density premium EVA footbeds with molded arch support, the Kat collection stays true to Sanuk’s brand promise of “Never Uncomfortable” without compromising style.
