The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, September 10, 2014 – Benchmark Hospitality International®, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has appointed Paul Bashaw corporate director of global sales for the growing hotel management company. Ted Davis, chief sales and marketing officer, made the announcement.
“It is truly a pleasure to announce Paul’s promotion within our company,” said Mr. Davis. “He has been a vital member of our sales force for 14 years, serving at the property level and on special task force assignments, and has been recognized nationally by our company for sales excellence. In his new role with Benchmark Hospitality, Paul Bashaw will oversee and lead the company’s global group sales initiatives, supporting properties across the country and offshore. He was most recently director of sales for Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center, located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Prior to this he was national sales manager at Benchmark’s Cheyenne Mountain Resort.
Paul Bashaw is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Oswego. He is a past recipient of Benchmark Hospitality’s prestigious Sales Leader of the Year Award. Mr. Bashaw will operate out of Benchmark’s southwest regional offices in Scottsdale, where he also resides.
